Whether that's a cozy family hangout or a functional storage situation, we do the actual work instead of just talking about it. Been doing this for 17 years, and honestly, we'd rather under-promise and over-deliver than the other way around.

Started the company after one too many bad basement projects. Mihai's been framing, waterproofing, and finishing basements for 27 years. Handles every major project personally and believes in doing work he'd stake his reputation on.

Lead Finisher & Design Consultant
Elena's got an eye for what actually works in a space. She's managed 84 basement conversions and talks clients through design choices without any pressure. Comes from a carpentry family, so quality's in her DNA.

The guy who figures out why basements leak and fixes it properly. Cristian spent 12 years in commercial construction before joining us. His waterproofing solutions have kept basements dry through some brutal spring floods.

Our Story
Started back in 2007 when our founder got sick of watching contractors disappear mid-project. Thompson Home Solutions began as a two-person operation—just showing up, doing solid work, and finishing what we started. The business grew because people talked. No fancy marketing. Just word-of-mouth from folks who had a great experience. We expanded the team gradually, always keeping that same no-nonsense approach. Today we've got 23 crew members, but we still treat every basement like it's our own. The methods have improved, but the philosophy hasn't budged: honest work, fair pricing, and actually showing up when we say we'll.
